New Year's

Ringing In The New Year 2013

New Years Eve kind of snuck up on us this year. 

We made no plans, I didn't buy any snacks to prepare. 

Nothing. 

I hadn't even gone grocery shopping either and after attending a good friends Fathers funeral today I was wiped out.

Evie swooped in to save the day, or dinner I guess. 

She jumped right in and made everyone Peanut Butter and Jelly 

Sandwiches. They were delicious!

The night was just beginning. 

We ended up playing Diabetes Land, er, I mean Candy Land. 

We also watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for the first time. 

Longest and strangest movie ever. 

Seriously.

Ethan worked on his big English assignment he has been trying to finish over Christmas break.

And Ally girl had a Pirates of the Caribbean movie marathon. It was the first time she was allowed to watch them and she made it through the first three. 

2013 was a fairly challenging year for us and I must admit I am not very sad to see it come to an end. Definitely hoping for an up tick in 2014. Here is hoping!!
